Welcome to my blog from the North of England where there are hills and wind and coasts, rainy days and lakes, but no cities to shop in and where a sunny day is like a jewel!

Adorable!
Sometimes, while looking about for nice vintage items, you come across something absolutely adorable like this toddler's Harris tweed coat from the 1950's, handwoven in the Outer Hebrides! I think I want to keep it - but common sense dictates it needs to go in the shop - shame......
Although it buttons both ways - don't you think it's more of a boys coat?- reminiscent of Prince Charles when he was little!
I wish you lived nearer too, but it would have to be you to me cos I'd be faaaaaaaaar too cold living "up there"! big hi from a softie southerner xx ps thanks for following!
You have started so nicely! Wish you to have a lot of fun in blogland! I love England and the English countryside, I have adored Scotland when I visited it during my honneymoon 12 years ago. Hugs from a sunny, dry place!
Oh its so cute! My mum has photos of me and my brother in coats similar to this when we were young in the early 60's.

Oooh, a lovely new blog to visit! That coat is indeed absolutely adorable. I remember having a little red one myself that was very similar.
